Precious Dreams kit by Scrapbrat Designs

I just joined the Creative Team (CT) of Scrapbrat Designs! When I first started noticing designers' CTs, I was in awe of their layouts and wondered how to join one. But as a beginner, I didn't feel confident about trying out for any CTs when I see CT calls on forums. I still can't believe I now belong to CTs of 2 amazing designers!

Anyway, Scrapbrat Designs released a new kit last week, Precious Dreams.

Image is linked to shop.

I love the soft colors and elegant elements of this kit. It's perfect for scrapping wedding photos and can also be used for other scrapping projects.

Here are my layouts for this kit:

Girls Forever
That's me and my girl friends while we were getting ready for my wedding. This is one of our last moments as "Single Ladies". I got married a few hours later, and they all got married a few months after I did. And we all lived happily ever after.

Here is another one:

Precious Dreams

This is my niece on the day of my wedding. She's one of our Flower Girls, and she was a few months shy of 2-years-old at the time... but bravely walked the aisle by herself and scattered flowers just like her mommy taught her (I saw them practicing a few minutes before). I love this kid! :)

Have you visited me on Facebook yet? I just realized that my blog anniversary is coming up this April. My blog will be 4 years old! And it has gone through several "image" make-overs since then... from being a personal blog, to being a paper craft-sewing-crafting-crochet blog and now to being a digital scrapbooking blog as well. To celebrate, and to promote my Facebook page, I plan to host a few giveaways, some of which will be available exclusively to my Facebook followers. So when you visit me on Facebook, please don't forget to click 'Like' :) I promise, I don't spam.

I won again!!!

I posted this layout a while back as my entry to Coolscrapdigital's Cool Motto Challenge for February. The winners were only announced yesterday and I was surprised to see it was me!! The winner was picked via poll and my layout got the most votes.

I don't have the prize yet... but I think it's a $5 gift certificate for  CSD. I am so happy! Digital scrapbooking ROCKS!

So much fun!

Dear Andrea,

I'm sorry I made you look for mommy's eyeglasses the other night because I thought you hid it. You really should stop giving me that cheeky grin when I am asking a serious question sweetie. It makes me think you're messing with me.

Love,
Mommy

Ok, eyeglasses found. And the culprit is... my father-in-law. They're here on vacation and are staying at our house and he saw my eyeglasses on the table the other night, thought it was his, and picked it up when he went to their room upstairs. Yep, our eyeglasses look similar. Only his is black, and mine is dark brown... and I've actually done the same thing to him a few times when we're staying at their house :D

I'm participating at another challenge over at Scrappity-Doo-Dah. The Bird Cage Challenge involves using all the elements in the provided mini-kit to make your layout.

For the Bird Cage Challenge for March 1-15 (yeah, I made it just in time!), we were given this mini-kit from Picture Designs:

This mini-kit is Picture Designs' part of Scrappity-Doo-Dah's FB Train for March. We get double points if we use some elements from the full kit:

So of course I used the full kit. Here's my layout:

I used the photo from my Valentine's 2011 post. Andrea and her cousin, Helaena, were both wearing the matching Modcloth-inspired Valentine Shirts I made for them then.

I am sewing again! Or will be when I get my sewing room back (currently using it as an extra guest room). Can't wait to finish it (because I kind of really, really need what I plan to make).
